Sunday’s Sashay-Guarding Myself

I turn from evil

Guarding myself With Your words

Thank God for His Grace.

(Ephesians 6:11-18)

D’Ora la Lumière/SC 7

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?

°°°First all must HEAR the gospel. (Romans 13:1)

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. (Acts 17:29-31)

Therefore, being offspring of God, we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination. Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him (Jesus Christ) from the dead.”…

We were disconnected from God when Adam and Eve sinned against God (the fall of men in Genesis 3).

And only thru Jesus Christ that mankind will be saved.

Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken by God, struck down and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid upon Him the iniquity of us all.…(Isaiah 53:4-6).

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

°°°Second, we must BELIEVE what we’ve heard. We must understand that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that He died for us and had risen from the dead and now seated at the right hand of God the Father. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.(Ephesians 4:4)

But when they believed Philip as he preached the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. (Acts 8:12)

°°°Third; REPENT of your sins. “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near.

Repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mark 1:15)

°°°Fourth, CONFESSION that you believe and acknowledge the gospel and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Surrender your all to Him.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

°°°Fifth, BE BAPTIZED for the remission of sins; (Revelation 1:5) …

To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood, (Romans 6:3-4) …all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death.

We were buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.… (1 Peter 3:21)

And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also…through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

°°°Finally, LIVE FAITHFULLY. Galatians 5:22-26

Let’s Pray: Abba Father God, I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died for me and on the third day You raised Him from the dead and now seated at Your right hand. I repent to all of my sins, cleanse me from all unrighteousness I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour. I receive Him in my heart. I surrender my all to Him. Fill me and Baptize me with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for the God Holy Spirit to guide and comfort me, leading me to Your everlasting way, In Jesus name, Amen.

Enjoy Your Sunday!

Sunday’s Sashay-Appreciation

Appreciation

Expression of gratitude

Thank God for His Grace.

(Isaiah 12:1-26)

D’Ora la Lumière/SC 6

In that day you will say: “I will praise you, Lord.

Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.

The Lord, the Lord himself, as my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.

Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
