A Mother’s Day Greeting From My Son

I am so happy to have received this from my son Deu 🙂
You know even just as simple as this when it would come from your child, you’d feel heaven and so blessed…

Here is a photo of him when he was just  a baby…

And here he is now!

He is also talented!
At 11 years old, check out his creation…

I asked him how did he do this when we do not have any sewing machine at home?
He told me that he just sewed them by his hands.
Well, of course since I am his mom, I am so proud and impressed! 🙂

Awesome! Isn’t it?

Thanks so much my son.
I love you and I’m so proud of you!

Isn’t he just the cutest guy!! You truly are blessed!

  2. What a handsome son! Nice Mother’s Day post. I hope acknowledged you correctly in my post for the VBA. Thanks again.

  3. Hi Dolly!

Isn’t it so precious when our kids make us something to show us that they love us? It’s all the love, time, effort and hard work that your son put into every stitch of his gift to you that makes it so beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my Mother’s Day post: http://thestillspot.wordpress.com/2012/05/09/a-mothers-love/

    Blessings for an abundant life!

    • Very true and you’d really feel heaven and true joy! Especially when the gift comes from your child. I feel really blessed 🙂
And you’re so welcome! Nice meeting you here via Word Press. See you around dear 🙂
      Dolly xoxo

  4. What a fine, dear, good, sweet, talented, caring, upstanding, charming, handsome, thoughtful, and thoroughly delightful young man!!

He reminds me so much of myself– I’d really like to shake his hand (as long as he’s not holding a sewing needle in it).

I just have one question: does he do Freelance Darning on the side? I have so many socks with holes in them, I could really use his help… : P

Well, he’s a good lad, and if he ever runs out of floss, he can always floss his teeth with thread– excellent. : )

  5. Well done to the young man 😉
You have reason to be proud!

  6. Very talented and very obvious where he gets it from! I’m sure he’s going to keep making you proud for a lifetime!

  7. That is so sweet! Looks like he is very talented!

  8. You’ve done a lot of things very well Dolly; and that includes giving birth to fine little humans (and sooooo good looking too). 😉

  9. You are indeed a lucky momma, Dolly. You have a beautiful child, and obviously thoughtful and talented, too. Thanks for sharing your joy ! 🙂

  10. Wonderful Mother’s Day gift! Wonderful son! The stitching is very fine. Thanks for sharing.

  11. You truly are blessed with such a wonderful son,but then he does have a wonderful Mom.

I’m glad to see this post it makes me very happy it reminds me of my mom when I was little and used to steal her books to give them to he on mothers day if they had bookmarks in them it was even better and she always said they were the best things she ever got.

  14. What a talented and handsome son you have Dolly. You have every reason to be proud! It’s amazing that he sewed those by hand! Or even if he used as sewing machine!! Gads I could never make those. They are really incredible. He’s obviously inherited your creativity! 😀
