  1. Moonlight Sonata … Beethoven

I dedicate this comment to my mother who filled the air with this song when I was a child. When I hear this song, she is with me, now. 🙂

  2. everythingbehindeverythingahead says:

You’ve Got the Moon, Josh Ritter
J’ai demandé a la Lune, Indochine
    Moon River, Frank Sinatra
Moonlight Serenade- Glenn Miller, Clair de Lune- Django Reinhardt and Moonlight Sonata- Beethoven– just music though, no words
    Bad Moon Rising, CCR
BLUE MOON- any version, I’m partial to Elvis’ though 🙂
Blue Moon of Kentucky, Leann Rhymes (I think there are other versions, hers is grrreat!)
    White Moon, White Stripes

I love Moonshadow and Moondance, awesome songs! Also Dancing in the Moonlight, by the ever-wonderful Van Morrison 😀

    • Thanks so much everything… I am sure all of this songs about moon you’ve just mentioned above are all great 🙂
and it would be more great, if you’d pick one of these moon songs an post it to your blog? Join us everything… thanks!

  3. Moon over Miami
    Moonlight becomes you
    The moon in your eyes
    Blue moon
    Black moon rising
    moon river
    brother sun, sister moon

  4. When I think Moon song, I think David Bowie. Space Oddity was actually played during the Moon landing on both the BBC and CBS.
“Moonage Daydream” from Ziggy Stardust certainly qualifies for this list. I deem it essential. You can choose from the milder studio version,
or the wilder live version from “Ziggy Stardust The Motion picture.” Both are available on youTube.

    • You inspired me to go ahead and do a post containing both versions mentioned above as well as the excellent live version from his 50th birthday bash in 1997. I also mentioned you and posted a link back to your blog. Merci beaucoup!

      • Alex Fyffe says:

Don’t know why I didn’t think of this one. Ziggy Stardust is one of my favorite albums. Great choice.

    • Oh it would be nice if you’d post them on your blog and so we would add it on the list too. Join us Leiuf… thanks 🙂

  5. Alex Fyffe says:

Also, Tate Takako’s 「月」 (“Moon”) is very beautiful, but I can’t find it online. And let’s not forget the classics. Debussy’s “Clair de lune” and Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata,” even though he never called it that.

  6. Alex Fyffe says:

「あなたへの月」, aka “The Moon to You” by Cocco (

  7. Reblogged this on catseyesk and commented:

  8. The first song to pop into my head was Moonshadow but I see you got it.
