Today’s Cafe Siesta is to wake up your memories and experience some random flashbacks… by simply closing your eyes 🙂
This was another mail that I received from a friend of mine… A long one but WELL worth it…. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did.
“In The Still Of The Night” — YOU’LL LOVE IT!!
and he said,
“I hate to admit it but I can remember all of these as I’m sure you will also. I remember these things…but I do it with very fond memories! When life was soooo much easier and slow. ”
“Sometimes you will never know the true value of a MOMENT until it becomes a memory”
Although, I wasn’t born in this era… I find this song very awesome 🙂
In the Still of the Night – Fred Parris and The Satins
I remember that I loved to play with my walking dolls that were almost as tall as I was… I had plates, cups and saucers made of papers that I created myself.
I enjoyed running around with my siblings… They would bring me with them to a river bank where it was not allowed for children to play. One day they sneaked out and brought me with them, I was only 5 years old back then and when my father found us there, Yay! He scolded the big ones but he spared me… hehehe… Because he believed I was innocent 🙂
I watched Tom and Jerry, Sesame Street after school. Favorite TV shows and series were Wild Wild West, Different Strokes, Bob Hopes… hmmmm I feel happy already while thinking of those things… I even could smell the donuts that my mom used to bake! Yummmy!
Here are some pictures I was able to scan from one of my old albums… 🙂
Yes Guys! Memories to treasure back… Like this kind of feeling…
Okay, you can begin now to spend some time to close your eyes and imagine how it was… 🙂 and then you can grab your favorite tea or coffee and savor it and enjoy it to the last drop 🙂
Enjoy your weekend!
I love you guys!

I remember how my mom used to take me to the Lemons R Us Café when I was just a baby. We were very poor, and she used to make my diapers out of the Café napkins. Sometimes I smelled like coconut, sometimes I smelled like chocolate, and sometimes I just smelled bad… : (
