Note: Curious about the photo of my blog above?

Well here is the story behind: It was a photo shot I took during my vacation in Sancere, Center France (Lately I am fond of taking photos of some interesting views that caught my eyes)
Anyways the story goes like this…When I finished my strawberry ice cream this bee landed to it and wanted more of the sweet… it even crawled down until it died…perhaps the bee choked itself by having too much of the sweet or had its wings trapped from the sticky ice cream or got drunk because I added a teaspoon of Cream Chassis in my strawberry ice cream. It taste better and I like it that way. I watched this bee and I noticed it ain’t moving at all, just then I took the picture. hehehehe
And the photo came out nice. So there I got the quote “Greed Is An Ugly Default”
I hope you like the story behind my photo background… 🙂

P.S.: Enjoy roaming around my page, have a cup of coffee with me at Cafe Siesta, join me in the Art Game, For The Love Of Haiku, Music Passion… Or just Take A Shark Break and Delight Yourself.  Plus if you need some lift too, you can just hang out to this page: Tooth Of The Day.  In short just feel at home and be comfortable!

  1. Hi Lemon, I swear I have messed up my links when I took a break from blogging, so disconnected and am re-connecting to get updates from you, now that I am back on the scene. You should check out what the orples are doing. As playful as you are, you’d probably love to join the fun. If you want to follow us and haven’t been getting notifications, you may need to un-link and re-link. In them meantime I’m leaving you a link to my category ‘Visiting the Neighbors’ on my blog. rose, or the rose hip. It’s one of the most effective treatments out there, and you will be missing out on something great if you aren’t using it.

It is Rosehip, it contains a rich source of vitamins A, C
and E, high levels of Lycopene, lutein and other beneficial fatty acids.

  10. Additionally, grapeseed oil can help your skin heal, as it has mildly astringent and
antiseptic properties, which also help to tighten and tone the skin, making it a good
ingredient for anti-aging skin creams. When you see these words on a label, DON’T EAT IT OR GIVE IT TO YOUR FAMILY. Grapeseed oil has regenerative and restructuring properties and has excellent skin moisturizing properties.

  41. Hi allaboutlemon,
Your blog is amazing. I love your art.

  42. Hi, thanks for dropping by one of my blogs but when I look at your offering I realise how pathetic my effort is LOL. The presentation, content and design are superb. I haven’t had a chance to go through all you have posted and I do admit to be bedazzled by what you have done here. I do like to look at other peoples offerings as there is so much diversity in blog land and your place is, as well as being pleasing on the eye, like a treasure trove.

    • You’re very welcome and I am so happy to have stumbled on one of your blogs and have met you here via Word Press. Thanks so much for the visit back I am truly honored. See you around!

  43. Dolly; I know that you need another award like you need another tooth to pull however; I have nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award because I had to… if I didn’t do it they were going to come and get me and take me away to someplace where terrible things would have happened to me. Now, I know that you wouldn’t want that to happen to me so (very relunctantly, and with great pain associated with being held at chocolate point) I gave in and added your name to my list of fellow bloggers who deserve every recognition that they deserve…. 😉

  44. This is a really “cozy” site. 🙂 I love the story behind your photo above. We can really learn a lot not only from our personal human experiences but from the way the animals act and react, just like the greedy bee on your photo. Thank you for liking one of my entries! To God be the glory! May God bless you and your writing! 🙂

    • Aw, thanks a lot for describing my site “cozy'” because that’s how I wanted my buddies to feel about it 🙂

  48. That pic made me gag just a bit. I think I have an unnatural fear of swallowing a bug, and that pic triggers it. I bet there is a technical term for fear of swallowing a bug. Insectoswallophobia or something like that.

  78. Do you like lemons, or is it all about the color? I find lemon yellow terribly fascinating, I am bee-like in my fixation with it- wherever I see a lemon yellow shirt, my brain steers me yellow-ward. I believe lemon yellow is sexy on les femmes, especially les blondes and les brunettes. I would recommend you wear lemon colored spring clothes, especially shoes. Your profile picture indicates you should look good in such a color. Just don’t buy banana-colored pants…someone may call you “chicquita.”

    • Thank you so much for this very informative advice. Yes I love lemon and I love broccoli too… hehehe 🙂

  132. good to discover your blog

  133. Hey there Dolly.

I had a quick question for you and so I figured I would post it in this comment section [ correct me if there’s a better section that you take correspondence in ] because I had some questions about developing a blog audience. You clearly have a vast blog audience and have been blogging through allaboutlemon for quite some time. I’m just getting started with my game design blog and I was wondering if you had any tips and tricks to raising site awareness? I try and post regularly, try and have entertaining mediums to talk about via the game industry, but I also noticed you have a ton of pages. I love your blog visually and I really appreciate a lot of the posts you make. I’m hoping that some day my blog will be just as active as yours! Is it necessary to maintain a ton of pages to make a successful blog? or can I keep simplistic with maybe an art gallery, a couple of contests here and there. What are your thoughts on the subject? I’d love to get some tips from someone who is clearly an experienced veteran.

    • Hello Chad, nice to hear from you. I just actually started my blog last middle of October 2011. And only by December that my blog started to pick up and gathered some audience, and then it gradually came up by January 2012 and I became busy since then… hehehe.
What I can advice you is what I just did. WordPress would ask you, what are the categories you are interested in? So I chose all the categories I am interested in as you can see in my page.
Since you are the lover of Art. Visit these blogs who also love arts and participate with any games they are having and then later on you will meet their friends or followers and these bloggers will visit your blog and then from there you will meet bloggers who have the same interest just like you have.
And just feel free to express yourself…You are blogging because you are happy to do so… I hope this one helps 🙂 Stay well my friend and be blessed…

  215. I’m so curious about this photo that covers the background of your blog???

    • It was a photo shot I took during my vacation in Sancere, Center France (Lately I am fond of taking photos of some interesting views that caught my eyes)
Anyways the story goes like this…When I finished my strawberry ice cream this bee landed to it and wanted more of the sweet… she even crawled down and she died…perhaps she choked itself by having too much of the sweet or had its wings trapped from the sticky ice cream or got drunk because I added a teaspoon of Cream Chassis in my strawberry ice cream. It taste better and I like it that way. I watched this bee and I noticed it ain’t moving at all, just then I took the picture. hehehehe
And the photo came out nice. So there I got the quote “Greed Is An Ugly Default”
I hope you like the story behind my photo background. Thanks for the visit, I highly I appreciate this a lot! And I’m glad you asked that question too 🙂
