Feeling Sad

I woke-up with my daughter’s call at 4:30 am…I knew for an instant, it might be an emergency or something.  And I was right, when she broke the news that my little brother, one year younger than me just passed away at around  7:00 am (Philippine time).

And then I checked my daily bible inspiration and this is a very comforting words that I received from the Holy Bible.

May God bless your soul and keep you my dearest brother 😘 I love you🙏🏼
You’re now safe in God’s hands❤️

Bong

I will really really miss him… this was his greetings to me on my birthday just this year 😔😔😔

I won’t be able to be with my family this Christmas’16,

The joy of making it and sharing thoughts on how to do it was already a Blissful Family Christmas.

Check out  my daughter,

TJ’s Work of Arts

 1

As her mother, I am truly impressed and so proud of her latest art work 🙂

When she was just a little, somewhere aged 8 or 9, very fond of drawings,
she started to make her own comic book.
She would ask her classmates to pay her a peso or two
whenever they demanded of her the continuation of her comic saga…
Whoaaa! A business minded girl like her mum… hehehe
And truly her classmates would pay her gladly because
they’re very captured with her stories and they craved for more.

🙂

Anyways here is an example of her comics… I told her to keep all of her drawings, which she did.
And now, one by one she tried to scan them and upload them to her page.

naughty_nice_vol_5_chp_1_pg_1_by_zireh06-d4azyet

Now her latest work at age 18…
Very Impressive!

I just like to share her arts here:

Aw! It’s a shame I can’t make that kind of art…
I prefer photo-shopping instead, hehehe

🙂

” The Wisdom of a Little Boy “

Grandpa- Wisdom of a little boy

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson. The old man’s hands trembled, his eye sight was blurred, and his steps faltered. The family ate together at the table, but the elderly grandfather’s shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled onto the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the messes.

“We must do something about Father,” said the son. “I’ve had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.”

The husband and wife set a small table in the corner. Grandfather ate alone there while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. When the family glanced in Grandfather’s direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before dinner, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, “What are you making.”

Just as sweetly, the boy responded, “Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food from when I grow up.” The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.

That evening, the husband took Grandfather’s hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days, he ate every meal with the family. For some reason, neither the husband nor the wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk was spilled, or the tablecloth was soiled.

You will remember this tale tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, a year from now.

On a positive note, ponder the following lessons learned:

1. No matter what hap pens and no matter how bad things seem today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

2. You can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles the following things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

3. Regardless of your relationship with your parents, you will miss them when they are gone from your life.

4. Making a “living” is not the same thing as making a “life.”

5. Life sometimes gives you a second chance.

6. You should not go through life with catcher’s mitts on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.

7. If you pursue happiness, it will elude you, but if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work, and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.

8. Whenever you decide something with an open heart, you usually make the right decision.

9. Even when you have pains, you don’t have to be one.

10. Everyday, you should reach out and touch some -one; people love that human touchholding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

11. You still have a lot to learn!

You should pass this on to everyone you care about!

“What do you do all day?”

Revisited…

===============================================================

A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and 20 wrappers strewn all around the front yard.

The door of his wife’s car was open, and so the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall.

In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.

In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife.. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened.

He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door.

As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls.

As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel.

She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went..

He looked at her bewildered and asked, ‘What happened here today?’

She again smiled and answered, ‘You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?’

‘Yes,’ was his incredulous reply?

She answered, ‘Well, today I didn’t do it..‘

Ooooops! Keep it cool honey 🙂

How about a little kitty massage?

Is there a message in this post?  I would like to hear a word or two from you guys…
