Still Snowing in Paris

Last night V called me via Skype to show me that Paris is still snowing…   Here are some snap shots that I took using my window’s “snipping tools” while he was showing me the heavy snow along the road in Paris…

La Rochelle (French pronunciation: [la ʁɔ.ʃɛl]) is a city in western France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay, a part of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of the Charente-Maritime department.

The city is connected to the Île de Ré by a 2.9 km (1.8 mi) bridge completed on 19 May 1988. Its harbour opens into a protected strait, the Pertuis d’Antioche.

You can read more about La Rochelle here:

And here are more shots I took during my last visit August 2012.  Enjoy!

Bart The Bear

I don’t know how many cups of coffee we will be drinking today in our cafe siesta because after you’d view the video clip below.  I am sure you’d be so curious about this film about.  Just like when I first viewed it.  I had to find the film or movie about this video clip, of which I did and so I have also posted it here for you to see and enjoy the movie as well.

“Let us by all means save our earth,

so our descendants will marvel at what we marvel”

Grab your coffee with you now and let’s all watch and enjoy the film 🙂

The original title of the film: The Bear / L ‘Ours
Year: 1988
Country: USA, France
Duration: 1:36:23
Director: Jean-Jacques Annaud
Cast: Jack Wallace / Jack Wallace /, Cheques Karyo / Tcheky Karyo /, Andre Luck / Andre Lacomb /
About the film
Among the beautiful and majestic scenery of British Columbia occurred touching story about a bear cub who has lost his mother and left to itself, while the two hunters continue to scour the woods in search of prey.

Fate brings together an orphaned child and a huge wounded bear. Difficult to add up their relationship, but hunters with guns and vicious dogs are much worse. Clash of people and animals is unavoidable.

A movie is in the audience “bearskin” and watching people from the position of the protagonist.

Ricard And Fabienne, My September Muses…

I want you all to meet a very sweet Belgian lady and loving mother, Fabienne.

and her handsome and naughty Ricard.

Look at him as he put out his tongue at me when I took this shot…  hehehe naughty, naughty cat!

“Thank you so much Fabienne and Ricard for being my September Muses…
It’s my honor to introduce you to all of my Blogger Friends around the World!”

Fabienne And Ricard

Fabienne is a teacher and she loves her job teaching around 700 students per school year.

Fabienne, a beautiful and independent single Mom of 2 sons and with 3 Cats lives in  Bois-d’Haine.

But only Ricard wanted to be in the limelight, so it’s only him that we see here with Fabienne.

He wouldn’t like it everytime  I was taking a photo for the two, Ricard would scared them off…  hehehe.

Fabienne is our friend.  We met her in the world of Rock and Roll in Belgium.

I am so happy to have met this wonderful woman.

And it was a delight when she welcomed us to her house.

I enjoyed taking shots to all flowers available in her garden.

Some fruits and vegetables grows in Fabienne’s garden too…

and here is Ricard again with his tongue out 🙂

And after we finished our dining in the garden, Ricard went up and sat on the table.

Just look at him.  He pretended he didn’t care at all…

… but actually he couldn’t wait to grab some food 🙂

Yap!  According to Fabienne, that’s a very Ricard thing…

hahaha, Ricard was just waiting for us to leave the table soon… and gave us an idea that he was just being so sweet 🙂

“Okay Ricard… do it your way now. We’re leaving. You can have your table back :)”

I wish to see Ricard and Fabienne again in the near future.
Meantime I do the best I can to get new info from them until the end of the year.  So just stay tune to all of my Muses 🙂

Arrow Shooting

I know you all miss our regulars… the Music Passion, For The Love Of Haiku and most especially our ART GAME…

And we will all have them back as soon as the month of September enters.

We just got back from West France to Paris last  night… and tomorrow we are bound to travel again to Bruxelles for a wedding.  And then Saturday to Center France.

Je suis désolé for the Art Game…  We’ll play soon promise.  I miss it too 🙂

For now I like to share with you  some photos taken in West France.  I enjoyed my stay so much in West France. And this was one of the activities or adventures I just did there… More to share on a later date 🙂

The Arrow Shooting

First, I practiced shooting arrow using the light bow…

And then my great teacher Big Tyty (the best friend and brother of my love V) showed me the technique on how to do it with the advance Bow:

So here I was shooting my arrow with the advance bow:

OOops! Here I was using my left hand so my shooting was not good…

So I changed my aim this time using my powerful right hand…

Aiming…

Go!

Yiheyyy!  I did it!

I felt so good…to get this point 🙂

Afterwards we ate the dinner that V prepared for us in grills:

A yummy dinner plus this marvelous wine.  It became my favorite:

Because of this wine by the way I became the famous Miss Pamplemouse and guess what?  I beated these 3 guys:

…when we played Darts. I won 3 x in a row…

From then on they called me Miss Pamplemouse…  hehehe

à bientôt
