For all people in love… Diana by Paul Anka

Revisited

When I was little, I listened with my Mom 50′s and 60′s Album Collections…They were all downloaded in my brain even when I was just inside her womb, I believe this, haha, so that now when I hear this song –  ”I’m so young and you’re so old, this my darling I’ve been told, I don’t care just what they say, coz’ forever I will pray…Oh please stay by me Diana….” Oh, wow! This song would really make my day.  It uplifts my spirit too.  This song is like a lullaby to me.  I just love its lyrics and melody…

Christy Hengel, Is One of a Few Manufacturers of Concertinas in the U.S. Today. He Hand Crafts His Instrument Which Is Noted for Its Special Sound and Sells for $1,100…

Paul Anka, Tom Jones, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Bee Gees, are top albums I listened to the most while growing up usually with my mom. She had collections of them. Although I am a jazz-kind-of-a-hip-hop music lover, I still enjoy listening  to them.  To me these albums are lovely, classical and immortal…

How about you guys, would you like to share us those top albums you listened too while growing up?
You can use the comment below and if you have any video responses, it would be very nice too.  Just post them below in the comment area.  Merci 🙂

And while you are doing that, you can brew your coffee and let’s drink it up hot and fresh… hmmm taste good as always!

Forget Me Not & Mon Amie La Rose

Tired and withered
Worldly beauty not eternal
But will stay in hearts
haiku by
AshiAkira

And here is a lovely song to go with this photo sent to me by V :)

***

It is very little.
And my friend Rose told me this morning.
At dawn I was born, called dew.
I blossomed.
Happy and in love.
The radius of the sun.

I closed the night.
I am woken aged.
But I was very beautiful.
Yes I was the most beautiful.
Flowers from your garden.

It is very little.
And my friend Rose told me this morning.
See the God who made me.
Made me bow his head.

And I feel like I’m falling.
And I feel that I fall my heart
I almost bare foot in the grave.
Already I am no longer.
You admired me only yesterday and I would dust.
Forever tomorrow.

It is very little.
And my friend the rose died this morning.
The moon that night, watched my friend.
I dreamed I saw. Dazzling night.

His soul dancing.
The already well-seen.
And will be me.
Believes him who believes.
I am in need of hope.
Otherwise, I am nothing.

It is little
and my friend Rose told me this morning.
See that god made me.
Made me bow his head.
And I feel like I’m falling.

And I feel that I fall
my heart is almost bare.
I have a foot in the grave.
Already I am no longer.
You admired me only yesterday.
And I’d dust.
Forever tomorrow.

Let’s drink up our coffee and Forget Me Not! 🙂

I named my plant, “Oxima”

I checked to see all the posts I have published and for the record as of today I have already published 1,197 posts to be exact 🙂
But there are several posts which some of you may have missed to read, so I thought it would be nice to revisit them and share them with you…  and this post is one of them.   Enjoy 🙂

When I arrived here in Jeddah, 4 years ago, I bought some indoor plants and placed them in my flat.  I thought that it would be nice to have something fresh with me every day.

But unfortunately I do not have that what they called “green palms”, so that one by one they started to get dry and die.  Plus the weather here is really hot especially during summer season. You bet I always have my air-condition on.  And when I go for my holidays, there is no one who I could ask a favor to water them.  By then of course the room temperature would become too hot.  For sure the plants could be cooked. 🙂

I will be gone usually 3 weeks and sometime a month, so every time I get back from vacation, I would be crazy to water them and do the best I can to save them. But no matter what I do, they continued to wither.  I was disappointed so I just left them, I meant literally just let them to die.  I never watered them anymore.

One day I did a general cleaning in my flat so I’ve got to get rid of those things that are of no longer useful for me.

I was about to dispose the remaining plant left in my flat because most of its leaves were dried, I thought this plant won’t make it too.

But then when I saw a little bud of new leaf growing just beside its limb.  I was amazed!  I said, “Wow! Of all the plants this one made it. In spite of what I did, I don’t know how she did it but the thing was she survived!

This plant inspired me and thought me a lesson.  No matter what the circumstances may be, I should never ever give up, I must move on and passionately pursue my mission.

…And So I fixed it up and then I asked what name it would like to be called.

That night I dreamt of the word “OXIMA” so that’s where I get its name.

Are you familiar with “Lexigram”?  Because I lexigram the word OXIMA and I came up with this words from it:

Oxi/Oxy-root word of oxygen and oxygen is air and we need air to breath, to live, to have a life and become alive.

Ma- we called our mother in short Ma.  Plants are living things  and  so basically they are the natures arounds us, the beauty of the earth materials and the mother earth itself that are within us.

With these 2 words in my mind, I understand why this plant stayed with me.
I made this blog for this special plant named “Oxima” 🙂

Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane) : one of the many “poisonous houseplants”.

I read this poem from one of my favorite books about Lexigrams.  I thought this would be awesome to share with all of my co-bloggers…  And perhaps you may find it interesting to lexigram a word, a name, a title or phrase too, which is really fun to do. 🙂

words divine, words sublime…  holy, holy words !
a picture is worth ten thousand words
so the Oriental sages say…  and therefore is the higher
nay, nay…  for shame !
for it takes words to tell…  even of that ancient claim
the hidden glory of every story
shines forth in words, words, words !
the miracle of the Easter gladness
overcoming death’s morbid sadness
is told in words, words, words !

words have wings, like birds
to fly through the sky of the mind

…  be ye aS wiSe aS a Serpent
yet aS harmleSS aS a dove…

words…  those mysterious scribbles on a page
holding the wisdom of every age
the experience and teaching of every sage

oh!  the beautiful rhyming of the proper timing
of words !

powerful words, that ring with truth
words that sing, forsooth  !
yes, words that ring and words that sing
words of spring and every good thing…  like kitties…

Beyond My Dream

As usual he always wake up early at 6 in the morning, roaming around his property. He wakes up, he faces me on his left side, gives me his warm hug and kisses me gently on my lips, trying not to wake me up in my deep sleep. But he is not aware that I feel his every move. He gets up on bed, makes some numbers of stretches then goes to bathroom to dressing room, and put his morning clothes on. He sleeps naked, he likes this and I love it too, because the heat of his body warms me all night long. I smile as he reached out to our bedroom door and I continue with my sleep.

Nanny entered and opened the curtain window, the 7 o’clock sun comes shining right thru my bed. She said, “Breakfast is ready, my lady, Lord Van is waiting for you, at the lobby.” I yawned and inhaled deeply, stretching up my legs, raising them up to my forehead, hold them for 10 counts and slowly exhaling, bringing them down. I counted another 10 just lying on my bed restfully and smiling, thinking what to wear for breakfast to impress him.

I carefully watch my steps going down stairs. I can see his eyes locked in me, right there where he sits on the coffee table, putting down the newspaper he was reading. He smiles and stands up and meet me halfway, excited to hold me and kiss me. We embraced and kissed long. I feel his heart beats fast, his kisses more stronger now and he slides his right hand between my thighs. I don’t wear any undies. He does not like them. I wore his favorite dress It’s silk, pastel pink, strap-less to knee skirt long, fabric wrapping loosely to my body. I groaned wildly as he slides in and out his finger…while still kissing me on his lips, his left hand now pulled down my top, squeezed hard my left breast and to my right, then slowly he lowered his head sucked each of them… my head is spinning now, I know I am ready for him… I want him to have me… my moan grew wilder and louder now my breathing is so fast… he lead me to lay my back on the empty coffee table, from there he taste my juice thoroughly and hungrily…I said “I will come soon my love…” and I came heavenly. But I want more of him. He did not stop from there, he knows I want more. He drew his full thrust in me, my hips go in rhythm with him… Gosh! I came again.

He is not done yet, he becomes more aggressive now… he drew his thrust, again and again more deeper now and harder. His blue eyes become like blue ocean on strong and big waves. We both moaned so strongly and we came at the same time and collapsed. I can still feel all of him in me. We giggled afterwards, kissing each other again. Teasing that we are both glad the coffee table is strong enough to hold both of us. We sat down, facing each other, eyes locked in together. We were both speechless but happy. Two minutes later, the butler came with two black coffee served to us. He said, “My lady, My Lord, your breakfast is ready in the dining room.” We both nodded to him. We sipped down and enjoyed the taste and aroma of our coffee. Ten minutes later, with holding hands we both went and have our healthy breakfast.

Across our dining room is a veranda. We stay there for like 2 hours talking anything under the sun after breakfast. We both like to eat our dessert here. Autumn meets winter so the morning air is both warm and cold. We watch the leaves of our blueberry trees fell down the ground with some snow flakes and air flew them by…

A Flower And A Butterfly

I was so careful when I took this picture by my iPhone 4, I was afraid I might scared off the butterfly away. I was happy afterwards, the photo turned out so wonderful. Boisgibault, Center France July 10, 2011

A FLOWER AND A BUTTERFLY a Short Fiction by Tiffanie King

A Flower And A Butterfly
In a garden, thousand miles away, all kinds of flowers bloom everyday and different variation of colorful butterflies fly everywhere in this huge garden.
Everyday, one of the gods known as Green God tends to this garden. He makes sure that all of the plants have their newly formed buds daily. From the sky, up above, He would enjoy the scenery these flowers and butterflies bring to nature. These remarkable living things color the days of all mankind. Truly, they nourish our beings, and give cheerfulness and happiness to our hearts.
In this garden, there are lots of things going on among the plants and other creatures around it. The drama happens when all the plants started to bud and then later when this bud would soon become a flower.
When a flower blooms, it looks so sweet and so pretty, so young and so fresh and all butterflies will go after her. These butterflies may have multiple variations in their coloration and they are all colorful and beautiful too. But all of these butterflies wanted only one thing. All of them wanted to get and have a taste of a honey or sweet. The juicy honey of a flower.
One day a beautiful flower started to bloom. Green God named her Rosa. This kind of plant is a prickly bush or shrub that typically bears red, pink, yellow, or white fragrant flowers. Rosa is rare, because she has the combination of all the colors. She got the attention of all the butterflies, even the bees, or the beetles and birds as well. They all admire her stunning beauty.
All butterflies flying around the garden went crazy. They quarrel who among them would be the first one to touch her and be lucky to taste her honey. But Rosa just remains easy and silent. Everyday and every night she would be moved by the wind. Either she would be swinging side by side or swirling around, she maintains an aura of mystery. She is very appealing even she would shiver from a cold wind, or even looked pale from exposure under the sun or lack of water. But Green God and nature take care of all her needs. She would soon be more attractive and gorgeous that all butterflies are so anxious to get her honey. But because of the wind, it is not easy to touch her. Some butterflies would just get tired. Some of them would just fly away and look for another. Others would have felt desperately sad and have left themselves to have no choice but to just fly and be far away from her temptation.
One day, a very unique and nice butterfly flew by and crossed over this huge garden. His name is Skipper. He saw this gorgeous flower in one corner of the garden where, there were only buds surrounding it. She got his attention because of her spectacular color and gracefulness when the blow of the wind leads her. He started to adore her. He tried to come near her. He began to skip up and down, yet he found it so hard to even take a quick dip on her pretty petals. He got so curious of her beauty and could not wait to touch her. He stayed as closer as he could even he could not join her. He tried many times, but nothing happened. He did not give up though. Until then he decided to stay and watch her.
The sky already became dark but Skipper never left. He patiently watched over her from the stillness of the night, with only the moonlight shining on her. By the smooth whistle of the wind, Rosa never stopped dancing. Under the moonlight, she was glowing too, like fire. No wonder, this butterfly got fell in love with her. When the first strike of day light came, amazing thing happened. By a chance the wind suddenly stopped. So Rosa stood still, and immediately Skipper touched her and sipped her honey, and she…she just gave her honey freely and loving it…. From then on they stayed inseparable until day break.
